| 1998 | Competes in Tall Ships Race, again going to Lisbon.

| 1999 | Second in Tall Ships Race with congratulatory visit from HRH Prince Frederick of Denmark.

| 2000 | Jolie Brise leads Tall Ships 2000 Transatlantic Fleet out of Southampton, going on to win the whole of Tall Ships 2000 Race, encompassing two transatlantic crossings.

Interesting Facts
In the last six years Jolie Brise has:
- circumnavigated the UK three times.
- crossed the Bay of Biscay eight times.
- visited Lisbon twice.
- sailed up to 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle.
- competed in six Round the Island Races (three times second in class, two times third in class).
- competed in five Cutty Sark Tall Ships Races being awarded
- third and second in class and twice winning the Award for the Youngest Crew in the Fleet.
- in total during this time she has sailed approximately 65,000 nautical miles and 1,100 pupils from Dauntsey's School have sailed on board her.
- she has represented the school on television six times.
- 28,000 meals would have been cooked on board during the last six years.
- in the last five years nearly 5,000 hours of maintenance work has been carried out on Jolie Brise by the pupils themselves.
- famous visitors on board in the last few years include Prince Philip, Princess Anne, HRH Prince Frederick of Denmark, Ted Heath, the late Eric Taberlay, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Sir Chay Blythe.
- Jolie Brise has been sailed and maintained by pupils from the school for the last twenty-five years.
- We think the club is unique in British Schools and although our pupils are fortunate to have the opportunity to sail in such a famous old craft, they earn that right only by their own efforts and involvement.
